Panter, ins't that the same anti-hunting politasshole who tried to shut down the Rockport pheasant farm earlier this year ? It says at the top of the bill
'prefiled for the 2006 season', so did it already get shot down last year? This is the first i've heard orf it. These people should focus on more practical things like why in state that has severe gun control is thier rampant armed violent crime in camden , tremton ,newark, or jersey city. Or why kids are afraid to walk home from school in certain districts or 18 year old high school students are reading at a third grade level [but can sure dunk a basketball]! No, these idiots are pre-occupied with protecting the ever populating and increasingly problematic bears. They really got thier priorities in line especially with all the tax dollars hardworking peole spent in this state!

"We" need to get some people in the Legislature.  Before "We" lose all of our hunting rights.

Legislative Sessions last 2 years .... so any bill can only last a maximum of 2 years. We are currently in the 2006-2007 Legislative Session. This Bear bill will die at the end of this year. The previous one died at the end of 2005.

Panter is the worst anti, and has a special relationsip with stu, but there are others ..... all democratic legislators from our urban areas.

There are also other current anti bills, such as the one changing the make-up of the Council, to include anti's.

Another bill changes the entire purpose of the Council and the DFW :  ".... to provide food and recreation to the citizens of NJ ..." would be removed from the state statutes. The DFW and the Council would only exist to help the animals.
