Good Morning all!! Temps going way up for the next few days. Going to reach 95 today, they say. Looks like the A/C will be working OT.

Looks like a nice Monday out there today. Not as hot and partly cloudy. Haven't had to water the lawn, plants, etc for a few days with all the rain we've had. Like it when God helps me with that.

Day 3 of this spouse imposed misery, did I mention how much I hate Spackle? Put on a coat of primer and watched the old paint come right through, dam...have to do another...Thanks for the beer Kath, I really need some today. In fact...Hilda bring me another and buy the house one on me so they can wallow in my misery also....by the way, did I tell you how much I hate Spackle?  __________________ OSC

Day 4...2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint and finally that nasty blue paint is gone. The room is starting to look like something, a little touch up and the trim and I that's that. Now I have to endure looking at the endless supply of carpet samples....where does she find these things. Thanks BTown I'll drink a couple tonight.
Day 5 of this endeavor, the room is finally finished...well almost, now I have to do the closet because god forbid it doesn't match the bedroom. Guess we'll be entertaining guests in there. I have to admit it does look nice, and I survived carpet shopping new one is coming. Now, if she thinks she'll be poking any holes in those walls after all this work...I'll...I'll...choke the living heck out of her, that's what I'll do.
Hans, you stop laughing over there and bring me a beverage...you'll see, there will be no holes in those walls, we do not need pictures of the children or shelves. I already know what they look like and we have a junk drawer for everything else...now bring me my drink  __________________ OSC
