after a few hunts we finally got some geese. The action was steady for the first 2 hours. all total we got 15. 1 shy of our limit. we were hunting on privte land outside of Hackettstown.

If you hunted where I think.I Hope you stayed away from the pumpkins. Because we were told the steel shot that falls on the pumpkins rusts & burns into them killing them.

Did ya call em in? Use decoys? I've been out a few times for geese so far this year but haven't even had a shot at one yet.

about 20 decoys and calling. the spot we hunted had gees coming to it for several days before we hunted so they were comfortable with the spot.
