my dad gave me his bear kodiak magnum do you more traditional shooters know any good sites to order a new string or is there any good shops here that sell them and im looking for ceder arrows also __________________ i pay to hunt here....do you "pay to hike here"

11 Point - I just picked up the same bow last week - it's a beauty. I don't know where you live but you could go to Ray's (see Mike T), Sportsmen's Center or Targeteers and they could hook you up for 10-15 bucks on the spot __________________ Capitalist - Pro Staffer

3 Rivers only has B-50 or Fast flight neither of which is my choice of bowstrings.
But the older Bears need b-50; the more sophiticated non-stretch strings can hurt the limb tips of older bows. if b-50 is your choice; 3 Rivers is fine if your are looiking for something more go to Chad Weaver at Recuvers.com and order one of his Champion Bowstrings. Their is a guy on ebay that sells flemish strings made of B-50 dacron for about 8 bucks. Just search flemish strings. You need to order one that is 4 inches shorter than you amo bow length for a recurve. __________________ "from my cold dead hands"

Get your arrows from Custom king tapered they'll fly better.
