I dont see why not your not hunting untill you have a weapon on you.

But you are allowed to feed wild animals for purposes other than baiting in Jersey?  Most states do not allow feeding of wild animals.  I know your allowed to bait for hunting purposes.

Is someone going to post a pic of this monster... or will it's image remain a creation of my imagination.

Ive been told the person who has the rack is not putting any pics out cause he does not want to lose the rack.

Not much he can do with it though - put it on a plaque. Taxadermist can't touch it since its not tagged

I don't know who has the rack, but I'd guarantee F&G is looking for them, and when they find them, they'll get slapped with illegal possession of wildlife. If they hunt, it goes against their hunting license.

I know that sucks, but it's just the way it is in this backwards assed state. Hell, just go over to PA and their F&G will sell you road kills for $10 a point. That would make this thing a bargain under $400.

The deer can be claimed as a road kill and you can get a seal for it from the local P D if they have them or I beleive they can be had at a regional office

Stash... in NJ one cannot keep roadkill horns... just the meat.  Pretty sure its the same in PA... except in PA you can pay F&W money to keep the rack.

Penna is the same way with the rack.

You can imgagine how many road kill racks would be hanging around, that were really shot an untagged? If it was mine, I would turn it into the state, and have a duplicate set made.

where is the pics at????he has had more than enough time
Posted:  16 Feb 2007 6:30 PM
He could take the rack to an undisclosed location take a pic with no person in the picture. Then have it posted. We could all see it without his identity being given away.

Email them to some member here.  We'll be able to post them without having to worry about the person being figured out.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight until I see these pics

yes they do...they are from my cellphone.

That explains it.  Too bad really.  I tried saving them to my computer and zooming in, but the quality isn't good enough to get a decent image
