NJ Hunter / New Jersey Hunting / Maps, Maps, and Maps / Google Earth WMA Hunting Zone Plugin by "New Jersey Hunter"
Posted:  31 Jan 2007 3:35 AM
I'm in the middle of making a plugin for Google Earth that would allow us, with one click of a downloaded file to show all the WMA's in NJ in their actual location on the globe.  But I have a few questions:

1) Would anyone else be interested in using it?  Don't wanna go thru the bother of doing all of them if noone wants it.

2) I have the WMA's for deer, is there somewhere I get the pics or pdf's for state park hunting grounds, turkey zones etc?

3) Does anyone know of anything else useful that I could include in the plugin?

4) Google has a site to download a few plugins, but nothing like this.  Who would I contact to find out if it would be ok to upload it as the thread title says?  It would advertise the site a bit.

Thnx for any feedback

I don't know about boycotting google.  Why boycott something that is free and a good resource?

Also.
Showing DMZ's would also be a good thing to add.

it's free , why not not use them to help our sport? I bet it will piss them off knowing that we are useing them to hunt.

absolutely use google earth.  it's the perfect slap in the face right back at them.  they don't support hunting but we'll use them to help us hunt.
