Hey everyone, My nephew Kevin, deadeyekev on NJH, shot his first deer on Saturday afternoon. Me, 2 friends and Kevin went hunting Saturday afternoon in Zone 10. This was Kevins 3rd time in the woods as a hunter, and first time he ever climbed into a treestand. We set him up first in case we pushed any deer on our way in to our stands. I had just pulled up my gun when I heard the shot. 5 minutes later he calls me on the radio and says "I shot a doe!" Turned out to be a button buck, but it was his first deer. Congrats, Deadeyekev! I will post pics when I can.
