Went to the field near Brownstone's milk crate and set up my goose decoys. (Brownstones, BHC and Droptine know exactly were I am talking about) Nothing even flying over. Wind was blowing over my decoys. I had on so many layers of clothing that I couldn't line up my eye with the bead on the shotgun if seated. Decided to do some deer scouting.....
Scouted the area back by the milk crate ...no tracks no feeding activity like last year. Checked out some fields up high on the other side of Old Mine road that I found with Google Earth. Plenty of rubs from last fall, but no recent deer sign. Was surprised to still see pheasant hunters around. Drove down Old Mine Road to rt 80. The only geese I saw were rafted up just downstream on Poxano Island. __________________ Gun control is being able to hit your target
