I was out today zone 6 in before first light...very cold...saw two at 7:30, two at 8:00, still very cold, saw a very tiny one at 9'ish 10 yards, yep it was still cold, but I wasn't at work so it wasn't so bad. I moved on up the hill a bit an at 11:30 I had eight come down the hill but none close enough to get a shot. I still hunted to where the deer went down the hill and I had two stand up from their bed about 20 yards. I had a shot at the fawn, but I wanted to get the other deer that must of got hit by a car, he walked with a limp on his left rear. Now it warmed up with all this action, and I went home with nothing but a great day off from work. The injured deer was 1 1/2 year old. Not very big, but I will be looking to harvest that deer no matter what comes by, unless there is a big buck with it, he's the one to take at all cost. __________________ Live To Hunt - Hunt To Live - Work To Eat

| wish i could go out this weekend, but will be in PA which just ended their muz loader season last weekend. will be out in Mtn. Lakes next weekend though with the bow. | ||
