Heading out to our new property for the 1st time tomorrow.  I havent hunted deer in NJ in 4 years.  My father said he has a couple ground spots scouted out so we'll see.

Will anyone else be heading out tomorrow?  Suppose to be warm.  Sprayed the coveralls down with tick spray tonight.  Who would have thought we'd need it on 12/15?

Good luck, it will be warm for sure.

Well, back from the 1st hunt at the new property.  All was quiet.  When I got back to the road, I told my father, "OK, lets sell the place"

Will try and get in there some more and scout around.  Maybe even put a stand up before the January season comes in.

Duckmaster2 These woods in zone 29 are big it takes time to pattern the deer. Once you put a little time in you will be happy with the results. Just look at the deer taken in Burden Hill this year in the CBDM

Hunted for the 1st time from a stand we hung on our property last weekend.  I usually wont hunt when its real windy but figured after the rain the deer might move.  Well, the wind wasnt that bad, but the deer didnt move.  Saw 4 turkeys, one had a 6-7in beard.

Come Turkey season i'm sure all I see is deer,,
