I agree with you too Chris. Its just the dead deer with the head chopped off in full view. I actually think its better to cut just the horns out at least it doesn't freak people out that much.
I guess non of these guys will ever buy one of those rack lamps or ducks on the base for their den???? It is the same just no headless deer on the side of the road. |

I didnt think it was important to note the exact details of what I would have done. I would have cut the head off because its the easiest things to do (i dont have a saw in my truck). And then once I got home I would cut the horns off...just like any other buck. Reading back through the thread it doesn't say where the deer was found. It doesn't say it was in public view.
Don't forget shed hunting is illegal in this state also. |

Read it wrong. Had to go back and make sure. But still wouldn't cut it off. Earlier this year I saw a roadkill buck on a busy road north of princeton. I went back at lunch to get a second look and someone hacked the antlers off already.
