Saturday afternoon on the Westhampton side two idiots just walked thru the entire woods talking loud as could be. One guy had the nerve to be wearing a scent block t-shirt on.  They followed all the deer trails they could find.

Even came by and waved at me and said hello.

Funny thing the deer came out like clock work right before dusk.  No shot but they seemed to be undisturbed.

Were they doing anything else?  Be careful!

I wouldn't leave anything where they saw you. They may mess around with your stand.  I always inspect my tree steps & treestand strap before I climb in just to be sure some looney anti didn't cut the strap half way through or something to try and kill me.

I use a climber and condering a tree saddle and tree climbers.  I understand the area is not a true wma but it is definitely known that bow hunting is allowed.

We got real bad vibes this weekend there.  Not only the Anti on Saturday but we were stopped by the State Troopers way deep on the road going in (Friday afternoon).  First a state trooper stopped and asked how it was going. He left and ran our plates and came back with 4 other troopers. We were cleared to leave after he checked our licenses and permits.  We left the area and moved to another one soon after.  Nothing to hide or doing anything wrong just did not want the CO and locals coming out next and asking more questions.
Jsut was not a good weekend for us in RSP.
