This pic was taken while I was in the tree. I passed on this 8 pointer yesterday. He came right in but there was an eleven pointer that is real wide that travels with him. The eleven pointer never came to the bait and circled the area watching the other deer. I drew back on him once at 32 yards and whistled but he kept walking. I never took the shot.

This is a pic of the eleven taken when I wasn't there. He is in the right side of the picture behind the tree, just within camera range. He is a real shooter. If you look close you can see how wide this guy is. That really gets the blood flowing in the morning.   __________________ I’m a Republican because everyone can’t be on welfare.

Cool pictures. Good luck on getting the 11 point. I was out also and saw 2 backet 6 points. I was hunting out of my Double Bull blind. It is cool havibg deer that close on ground level. __________________ Member FMBA local 21

Rugman: They are far from "pets". They don't get that big for no reason. One slight move at the wrong time and the whole woods are boogered. They are very wary of anything "new" and out of place. The larger bucks stay away from the camera (and the bait), I'm sure they are aware of the flash on the camera because the flinch when it goes off. I may have to buy a new no-flash cuddleback from Drag. __________________ I’m a Republican because everyone can’t be on welfare.

| Not too many bears in southeastern morris county. They don't try to cross RT 80, then Rt 10 too often. If they do and somebody spots them they get a swat team and 500 observers chasing after them, eventually they get relocated to Black River and seem to head west. I have not heard of any bear captures in the Randolph area this year, we have had several years past in the Morris cty college vicinity and sightings in my neighborhood, the news spreads like wildfire the soccer moms freak out. | ||
