yesterday while scouting a piece of property that don't hold alot of deer I decided to put a small food plot in the woods by a stand site that does o.k. to say the least ,the spot is close to home and great for those mornings when I need a couple extra min. sleep ,well today I went to hang a couple feeders and looked at my plot site and found the deer were digging it up there were tracks all stopped into it .what is going on w/ this

It sounds like the plot is doing what it's supposed to do... bring in the deer.  The plot is so appetizing to the deer that they simply cannot get enough of it.  That's a great thing.

pic's and what kind of plants did you plant? Also did you have the soil tested? you should have also put up small fenced areas to see how hard they are hitting your plot..... More info is needed.

Keep them away for a few days- put down some nylon netting- nylon doesn't chew so well. After a week-10 days roll it up before the plants grow thru it. Start shooting. Sounds like you have a giant scrape

If the area is overpopulated and the habitat has been hammered then there is little natural food for the deer and they will destroy a food plot.  Shoot some of the does if there is an overpopulation problem.

Any time you turn soil or rough up the groung the deer will come  to investigate. They will not bother it til it starts to grow. Then you will have fun.
