well most of us have just over one month to go before we can start slinging arrows agian, but its been to hot to do any walking!!!!!!!
I tried to walk near turkey swamp last saturday but after 8:00 I was soaked from sweat....I hate the summer...GIVE ME THE FALL ALREADY!    __________________ |

My scouting is on hold also, but what can you do It's just way to hot to even think about walking around the woods, not to mention there isn't an animal dumb enough to be moving around during the day Im waiting till it at least drops down to the 80's before I'll hit the woods.

I scouted all afternoon yesterday. I went up to my new peice in Montgomery and Posted half the property. I found a lot of good sign and also found a nice 7pt dead from last season. I took a 20lb sledge with me and knocked down about 12 stands on the property from the hunting club that had the property last season....dont want those guys having easy access to hunt their old land

I did most of my scouting early and have 6 spots all picked out now its a case of hanging a couple of lock ons, And its way to hot to do that now.. Maybe in a week or 2 things will cool off a bit.. __________________ "Fat, Drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life son."
