I'm not overly impressed with the paint job...I know George does great work as that mount shows but the paint job it self looks a little off to me. Almost like a wrong color selection. Looks too green.

I had a 15 minute conversation with George about fluke. that is an anatomically correct color, not what a fluke looks like after it's hooked and stressed. just like a mahi mahi, turquiose alive and well and silver/ gray  when stressed or dead. george even stated that he even makes his own fluke eyes as they have a horseshoe shaped pupil and no suppliers make fish eyes with those pupils. with him it's all about being anatomically correct

I think it is BEAUTIFUL!!!  The color looks just fine to me.  It all depends what color the bottom is that they are laying on anyway.

It looks a little on the green side to me too. but it still ooks cool!! he did a blue fish for my nephew about 4 years ago man I gotta tell'ya it look like it just came out of the water...also a buddy of mine lent me a huge nine poit rack he found in the woods to let me show it to some one and I broke off a tine I told my buddy that'd I'd pay to have it repaired he said if he shot that deer he'd be pissed but he only found it so no big deal I went to George and he fixed it. You can't even tell it was broke. when my buddy gets back from vacation I'll get a pic up of that rack.
