the first of the three is jimmys buck.. he didnt poach it, its an inside joke between us fellow hunters, we dont need people getting the wrong idea here........
hey woj, this is the "twin" of your buck as JT would say... lol (not quite.. he thinks just because they were both 9 ptrs off the same property they were tiwns) they look TOTALLY different... not one characteristic the same..

Awesome.  There are no other words I could think of to explain it.  That is one of the coolest works of art I have ever seen.  How did you mount that worm?  I love pieces like that, but know I could never afford something like that.

I made it out of epoxy then ran a wire through it into the fish's mouth and throught the rock... its just epoxy and paint...

How long does it take to make something like that?  I would like it even without the deer mount.

Great looking mounts.... I like the ears being back on the deer.... I have 2 in the "alert" position that I really love but the last 2 I got done the ears are off set like the dear is listening to something but isn't alarmed... I like that touch!!!

Great looking mounts all around!!!!

to build the pedestal from scratch.... mount 2 skin mount fish, make a reproduction bluegill and then mount that ....... i would say it took me 6-7 weeks solid working time... (8 hr days... about 300-350 hrs) but i took EXTRA long time on the pedestal.. extra coats of varnish, gold leaf throughout all the roping.. i plan on entering this mount in a competition next year..  i would have to price everything out to get a definate price but just off top of my head i would say it would be close to $8,000-$9,000 for that pedestal, habitat, deerhead (open mouth), and 2 fish.. (unless you supply the cabinet, that could save you about $1,500)

well the pedestal alone, with no mounts, (if you would want me to just do habitat on it, waterfall scene with a stream, some rocks, dirt, antler sheds, stuff like that. you can buy a premade pedestal and i could do that for you for alot cheaper... think of it as a piece of furniture in your house.. just for decoration. i want to make a pedestal like that with just habitat and put like little ceramic deer nick nacks i have inside of it with nice scenery.. depending on the cabinet... i could buy a cabinet and put habitat on it for under $2,000 if thats all you like...... anything is possible..

thanks for the comments guys, im glad you like everything... my next project to post pictures of is a white fawn... just need to finish it... lol

i would like to correct myself on the price of that mount.  i sat down and figured it all out and came up with a price of $4,800.  my guess was WAY off, sorry about that... next time i will figure things out before opening my mouth
