I think this is all pretty funny.
Stuie you’re the MAN!  I mean that, he manipulates the media into doing his thing for him and mean while the pay pal account on his little animal rights website goes “Cha Ching"!  Little old ladies on pensions send in their money while eating cat food thinking they are “Doing the right thing”.

The guy is smart, to a point but can’t have a conscience since he must know he and those of his ilk do more harm than good where it comes to wild animals.
Some one else mentioned that times must be tough for his kind since the bear hunt is a done deal and the fact that cops are shooting bears in Irvington and environs only proves what our biologists were saying 10 years ago was true. Additional indicators are all the entities that are now hosting deer hunts on their properties after seeing the ecological damage constant over browsing by unchecked deer herds have done to the habitat other animals need for their very survival.
This whole this is just business to him with a touch of ego thrown in, no biggie.

IMO the really disappointing part of all this is the willingness of the media to go along never questioning the side with the agenda and never even making an attempt to find the other parties side of the story . These people learned nothing from “The Dan Rather story”.

With that said we know that there is no way the reporter could have known that since this was a shoot using BOWS AND ARROWS from half to 2 /3 of those birds got to go free having a shot at freedom the birds that made up the “Nuggets” most people watching that “Non-news cast were munching on never got.

Just a question - Who has the authority to sue these A-holes?  Who owns the video?  I say that if they took it from NJH then Drag/owner of the video should sue the crap out of them for obtaining the video without permission.

As a member of the UBNJ I would support the UBNJ as an organization taking legal action since the reports I heard defame the UBNJ.

Fresh pheasant = yummy.

just emailed this to news 12.

Regarding your story on Pheasant Hunting.

How dare you run a one sided story like that on your station without doing any research into upland game hunting, and/or NJ State Game hunting laws.  You should be ashamed of yourselves and embarassed for you actions.  The events that took place during that pheasant hunt depicted on the video were perfectly legal, ethical, and in accordance with all New Jersey state hunting laws.  There was no animal cruelty depicted, nor was there any illegal actions taken on that video clip.  Certainly nothing worthy of even the mention of bringing the UBNJ or any of it's members up on charges of animal cruelty.   News 12 should learn to do a little bit of research, and maybe even interview an expert or two before airing such a one-sided story (but I guess that would be good journalism in which you apparenty do not take part in).

Your organization will find itself lucky if it is not brought up on charges for defamation of character by the UBNJ, and the website in which that video was illegally stolen from.  News twelve should think twice before they air another ridiculous video with illegitimate claims of animal cruelty submitted by a "whack job" anti hunting organization on public television again.  All you're doing is attempting to ruin the reputation of New Jersey's only true conservationists.....it's outdoorsman.

P.S.  Your source is also a joke...perhaps you can p [no swearing please] this on to stuie as well.

I can't access the site?

News12.com wants my account info - sorry I got directTV.

What BS.

The crickets are chirping for these broadcasts.

All you jail-house lawyers.... if you want to sue stuie, it'll require some dough.

No one watches news12 anyway so I wouldn't let it bother ya.

If you want to arrange a press conference or a demonstration in front of news12 it is a cheaper alternative. Better yet, keep sending e-mails and letters.

first of all. What took him so long? wasn't this around for months!! dip [no swearing please] is really scraping the bottom of the barrel to start some thing. As for the bear hunt it is NOT a done deal you forget that the DEP headed by a Corislime crony has the last say. so no bear season you can bank on it. I think old numb nuts thinks that maybe Corislime may get involved it this.

Here is what I sent them.......ENJOY

News 12 (and I use the word “News” loosely)

I hope your reporters go back to cl [no swearing please] and try to learn something next time around! They failed to investigate all sides of the Drugged Birds story and got it all wrong as usual. Where do you find these “Reporters”? Do they fall off the Stupid Tree and you pick them up give them a shine and send them out to report the “News” all wrong? News 12 NJ is at the top of the list of unprofessional news organizations. You should be proud that you share that honor with some esteemed company, CBS, NBC, ABC and CNN. As far as I am concerned your lack of effort in getting both sides of the story is typical of the modern “Liberal” news journalist. Next time get the FACTS before you pump your hidden agendas down the public’s throat and look foolish to those that know what the facts are. Obviously you have heard of “drive by shootings”?  Well what you have done with this story is what is called “drive by media”! You swoop in and get half the story and sensationalize it and then feed it to the uninformed.

There is nothing I despise more than IGNORANCE!
