Hey everyone, does anyone know where I could get plans for a duck hunting boat? I'm considering building one as a summer project and wanted to look at some plans for some ideas. Thanks!

Check the "How To" section.  I posted a thread about this last month.  Guys provided a lot of good websites.

Now that I have built a basic boat I think I'm ready to try something more substancial.  After looking at pirogue and putting it in the water, I am more confident in my ability to turn out a seaworthy craft.

Like most projects, the hardest part is starting.  When I built the pirogue I didn't have that problem but a mistake in the first phase almost made me cut my losses.  After staring at the problem for a couple of hours I found all was not lost and devised a plan to salvage the project.  Now for those who might be scared off by my admission, mine was a mistake in choosing the right product for my application.  *Never listen to the big box guys when building a boat...none of them have ever done it and don't know what to recommend for glues and epoxys.

Boat building is an art of expression and functionality.  I was told by a well respected member of this forum that shooting birds from a boat I built would be priceless.  I can't wait to find my new wealth.  Sh*t, I might have to buy a fishing license if time doesn't go any faster so I can try my new boat.

It will be just as priceless as your first ride was in your new pirogue
