Hello all,

I was informed about this site from Ms. Grit. which I had the pleasure of meeting at the BLB. Anyhow, I've been hunting for about 5 years and this is the first year I harvest deer. What a great feeling! So now hunting is on the brain and the primal instinct has been kicked up notch. Since I've been reading these forums and it seems that the folks here are pretty well informed on the subject of hunting, So  I hope I've found a home.

My name is Scott, I am from Jackson (Ocean County).  I found the site on google.  Glad to be aboard, only on for a few days and have found a lot of interesting topics and info already.
The site is a little difficult to navigate at first.  I was waiting for someone to PM me about becoming an advertiser/sponsor as well as paying the donation fee requested to help off set the costs of running this site.  When I search new posts I only go back about 15-20 most recent and cant get back to that post......help.

Thanks for visiting guys.

Some of the most fun times are opening days (turkey, deer, trout, summer flounder, stripers, pheasants, waterfowl, etc.) and guys posting photos.

Even betters... photos with the little guys/future generation (aka... young bucks).

I'm Jeff and I live in Blackwood (near Deptford) I've been hunting about 3 years now, haven't shot anything (haven't seen anything!) we go down to the Milleville WMA, we've gone Pheasent hunting, nothing... (you definetly need a dog!) and recently went coyote and fox at night, really cool! we called in an owl with the electronic caller, hey at least it was a predator!. Maybe I'll stick to sporting clays, I get to shoot. I've actually been looking at this great site for a couple of months but just joined recently. I check in almost everyday, lots and lots of great pics and info.

I'm Brian and I live in Gloucester County. I've been visiting the site for a while now. I honestly don't know how I ended up finding the site. I couldn't help but notice that there is a lot of "northerners" on here. I thought I would add a litle southern influence. I know there are a lot of "lurkers" out there who just won't speak up on a forum.

I hunt mainly in Salem County. My son finally got his hunting license this past year and we have been having a good time out there. The pheasant don't stand a chance with that kid. He passed up a few deer this year and I'm real proud of him. He made some good jugement calls and ended up without a deer. He is OK with it and eager to get out next year. He'll be taking his ML test next month and maybe the bow test in the fall.

It's good to have a new hunting buddy. I love teaching him about this great way of life. My wife doesn't give me greif over going hunting now either.
Now we get to fish, hunt, work on duck boats, blinds, deer stands, shoot spoting clays, work the dog, ride dirtbikes etc without her grumbling. She doesn't even mind the "gun of the month" anymore. It's great.

I am relativly new to the site, readposts for a long time before writing one. Found out about the site from Kris who I think is dragthor. Met him in rockaway river was catching tons of trout with my buddy , he was catching none and freaking out, let him in on secret bait. Im sure he remembers. Got pissed cause next thing you know groups of people from this site were showing up in spot which had very little pressure until this site and groups of people meeting there in the old honey holesome coming from two hours away. Crazy you can catch those state trout anywhere. Any how Im not mad at you Kris, tyhis site is great and does far more good then bad, just stop telling people all the secret spots are you guys nuts.Hunting in this state is hard enough.

Found it on google looking for info on a non-res (my old man) bringing his newly acquired pistola into NJ for some fun at the range.

Also been thinking about doing some hunting up here.

Good looking site.
