Count me in on the rebellion. I think what did it for me is our new tax on the licenses. It's hard enough finding the money for
#1 BOW
#2 BOW PERMIT
#3 SHOTGUN
#4 SHOTGUN PERMIT
#5 TURKEY PERMIT FALL/SPRING
#6 DUCK STATE STAMP/FEDERAL STAMP
#7 MUZZLE LOADER
#8 PHEASANT STAMP
How much am I up to. Can I take out a mortgage for this? O.K Now lets add a 7% tax. What next?

I was introduced to the site by Dragthor. I live in Zone 8. I love good dog work and love eating Pheasant.

I originally came to the site looking for Pheasant recipes, but I have found that the site has much more value than just a few recipes.

I still don't understand how you guys have so much time to be chatting it up on the website while there are so many big bucks walking around in your zone.

Actually, I was looking at one of Stu Chafietz's nutty anti hunting websites, and he mentioned this place.

Newbie here- heard from a hunting partner who heard from guy at work. I live in Camden county, but hunt in Ocean county. I have been hunting zones 17 and 18 for 33 years and got permission on a very small piece of property in zone 48 for last season. Shot a palmated 6 pointer and a fat doe there and missed a couple in zone 18. I passed 3 shots at bucks during 6 day firearm because it was pretty thick stuff and did not want to chance wounding an animal. The zone 48 piece is my new honey hole though- I saw 7 bucks before I even laid eyes on a doe. I also missed an 8 pointer there 10 minutes before I shot the 6 pointer.

I don't know how I missed this part of the site.

I found the site by doing a google search on NJ Hunting.  I started shooting my bow in February.  I haven't hunted at all..EVER though I want to..once I am comfortable with shooting the bow....etc  I also enjoy fishing and going RV'ng with our travel trailer.

I live in Saddle Brook and in the spring/summer/early fall we are up in Sussex county at our seasonal campground.

Found the site while looking for current fishing reports. I'm so involved w/ my car forums that I don't spend much time on the hunting and fishing forums even though I like to hunt more than I like to race. Spent some time on Primos' site but found it was set up to much for children viewers to be able to keep myself from constantly being talked to so I never visit there anymore. Looking forward to doin some hangin out and learning how to navigate yet another forum!

I joined this year after someone from a newspaper here in Morris County, who I email on occasion, pointed me to this site.  I've been hunting deer in NJ since the late 1980s and used to saltwater fish every weekend from May 'til November...trying to get back into fishing once I buy a new boat and the children get a little older to fish along with me.

Love the forum, especially the pictures of trail cams, sightings, fishing reports, etc.  Keeps me awake while at work and once in a while I have something to share with the board.
